Purpose of the Career Technical Education (CTE) District Wide Advisory Committee:
The Â鶹¹ú²úAV Career Technical Education Department is responsible for development and implementation of career technical classes. According to federal and state guidelines, these classes should be organized into a scope and sequence and meet industry standards. It is important for the CTE committee to be comprised of a variety of people including, but not limited to: business partners, community leaders, parents, students, educators and other interested parties.

The mission of the Career Technical Education Department is to support and connect educators and business partners by developing career preparation and work-based learning opportunities that prepare students for a bright future — Career and College Ready.
Â鶹¹ú²úAV offers high school CTE courses in the the following industry sectors:
- Arts, Media & Entertainment
- Building Trades & Construction
- Engineering & Design
- Finance & Business
- Health Science & Medical
- Hospitality, Tourism, & Recreation (Culinary)
- Information Technology
- Manufacturing & Product Development
- Marketing, Sales & Service
- Public Services
- Transportation (Automotive Tech)
Â鶹¹ú²úAV ROP/CTE classes are open to all high school students.
