Negotiations to Recover Lost School Days & Instructional Minutes

Sacramento, CA - The Sacramento City Unified School District (Â鶹¹ú²úAV) and the Sacramento City Teachers Association (SCTA) have taken an important step toward reaching an agreement on how to recover school days and instructional time that were lost due to the strike, which began March 23rd.

Sacramento, CA â€“  The following provides an update on where negotiations stand with SCTA and SEIU.
 
SCTA and SEIU are independent labor unions that are currently striking at the same time. The Sacramento City Unified School District (Â鶹¹ú²úAV) is in active, yet separate, negotiations with both labor partners. The Â鶹¹ú²úAV team has devoted considerable hours in the past few days meeting with both union bargaining teams and in caucus to discuss options and ideas for resolving this dispute.
