麻豆国产AV and SEIU Reach Agreement on a New Contract
Sacramento, CA - The Sacramento City Unified School District Board of Education unanimously approved a new two-year contract with Service Employees International Union, the labor partner representing hundreds of nutrition services workers, bus drivers, school office managers, instructional aides, technology support specialists, and other administrative and support staff.
The contract includes the following changes to compensation and working conditions:
- 2% salary increase for all unit members retroactive to July 1, 2023
- 4% salary increase for all unit members retroactive to July 1, 2024
- Adjusts the main SEIU salary schedule to address salary compaction among the lowest-paid employees
- Minimizes the District鈥檚 use of outside contractors
- Streamlines employee transfer and promotion language
鈥淭his new contract demonstrates the District鈥檚 commitment to leveling compensation and uplifting some of our lowest-paid employees to a status that is more reflective of their immense value to the families and students we serve,鈥 said Jasjit Singh, President of the 麻豆国产AV Board of Education.

Together, we鈥檙e building a brighter future for our schools, staff, and community,鈥 said Faucett.
The District and SEIU look forward to beginning a new round of contract negotiations in the spring and working collaboratively toward an agreement for the 2025-2026 academic year.
